Saturday 15th April 2023 is World Art Day.
A day which is designed to reinforce the links between artistic creation and society. A day to shine a light on art, culture, expression and diversity. A day to celebrate the artistic creativity in our own community.
First celebrated in 2012 to honour the birthday of Leonardo Da Vinci, World Art Day represents tolerance, peace, freedom of expression and multiculturalism. It was established to encourage curiosity, creativity and artistic freedom throughout the world.
