If you’d like to get your hands on one of our coveted Barnaby lapel pins, there’s one super-easy way. Just come along to our Open Meeting, this Thursday evening (23rd November, 7.30 – 9pm) and sign up to volunteer for next year’s Festival. Volunteer Co-Ordinator Anne Davies will be on hand to talk you through the process of getting involved, and answer any questions you might have.
On the other hand, if you’re not yet quite sure whether you’re ready to throw your volunteering hat in the ring, it’s the perfect opportunity to get up-to-date on all the Festival news from our new Festival Manager, Mandy Martinez.
This week also sees the launch of a new idea. With a nod to next year’s Festival theme of Roots/ Routes, some of us are going to walk up to ArtSpace from the town centre – it’s a lot closer than you might think! Please do join us, departing from just outside the URC on Park Green at 7.10pm sharp.
We’ll also be announcing the next set of Big Sing dates, and giving you all the details of our special Christmas Social and Fundraiser on the afternoon of Sunday December 17th. Very kindly hosted by Shackleford Pianos at their premises on Athey Street, we’ll be getting firmly in the Christmas mood from 3-5.30pm, with carols, mince pies, and a raffle.
Time to dig out that special jumper…
