In our 8th festival the Barnaby Festival 2020 theme is Vision. Once again Barnaby will be inviting the people who live and work in Macclesfield out to play in a range of high-quality festival arts, inspiring and encouraging creativity.
Macclesfield Barnaby Festival (MBF) is seeking an experienced freelance Festival Manager to join the Festival Team and bring our theme of ‘Vision’ to delivery. The Festival Manager will be responsible for operationalising all elements of festival programming, planning and event management and income generation for the 2020 festival. The successful candidate will join a small but committed team of trustees, volunteers and existing staff of Programming, PR & Artist Liaison and Participation & Learning Coordinator to play a key role in coordinating delivery across the team.

Summary

Value: £10,000 including vat + potential for negotiating income generation related bonus
Start date: 1 March 2020
End date: 31 July 2020
Festival location: Macclesfield, Cheshire (regular face to face meetings and operational activities in Macclesfield)
Festival dates: Thursday 18th June to Sunday 28th June 2020
Successful candidates MUST be available FULL-TIME from Monday 8th to Tuesday 30th June.
