PARADE

The Barnaby Parade is the centrepiece of the first Saturday of the Festival, a time when community groups, schools, families, individuals… can come together and celebrate everything Macclesfield has to offer: its history, its scenery, its creativity, its contrariness! Things that make our town very special.

Macclesfield Community ArtSpace organises the Parade, from creating the artistic vision to building elaborate floats and costumes. They run FREE Parade workshops where you can get advice and support for your ideas and let your creativity take flight and shine.

You you can find out about some of the themes and great ideas from previous festivals at their website.

For more details please email barnabyparade@me.com

Come and join in the fun!
