Are you keen to improve how you market your work, business or events? Looking for some tips and tricks to increase your audience and engagement on social media?

Join us on Monday 10th February. 6.30-8.30pm  for Barnaby Presents: Arts Marketing, Audience Development & Social Media. This free workshop will take the form of two mini masterclasses, followed by an informal Q&A and ‘solutions surgery.’

The first masterclass will focus on marketing and communications in an arts festival context and will be led by Mandy Martinez, consultant in arts/publishing marketing and events with more than 25 years experience.

In the second, Lauren Wilson, marketing & comms officer at Heart of Glass, will be sharing the social media tips and tricks that she uses in her role at the social and collaborative art agency in St Helens – when she’s not in Macclesfield! See full biographies below.

There will then be an opportunity to create a Marketing & Audience Development plan for your work, business or event with the support of Mandy and Lauren ahead of Barnaby Festival in June

The session will close with an informal Q&A and ‘solutions surgery’! Bring your queries and devices, and pose your questions about marketing, communications and social media to Lauren and Mandy, who will do their best to find a solution on the spot!

This is the third in a series of Barnaby Presents talks and workshops covering a wide range of arts & culture producing skills that will take place in the lead up to Barnaby Festival 2020. These sessions are free to attend and open to everyone. At the workshop you will have the chance to make an optional donation to Macclesfield Barnaby Festival (registered charity no. 1151155). We are a charity working for the benefit of Macclesfield and our residents. Running a festival like Barnaby incurs many costs and fundraising takes up a significant amount of our time. Any donations are really appreciated and will help us to run more events like Barnaby Presents: A Marketing & Social Media.

Light refreshments will be provided.
