We have festival favourite Chris Helme coming back to Macc! Chris Helme, is the frontman of The Seahorses. The 1990s band formed by Stone Roses’ guitarist John Squire, who released their sole and UK No. 1 album in 1997 to an outpouring of adoration from fans at home and around the world, and defined a moment in time for hundreds of thousands of people. Chris Helme blew everyone away at 2023 Pews so we cant wait to have him perform at Cinemac.

For the first time in Macc we have Ruby J. Hailing from the mighty Midlands RUBY J fuses multiple genres with her own unique style think Amy Wine House, meets Dolly Parton! In 2020 Paloma Faith said “Ruby J is that unique voice”. 2022 saw Ruby J make her Major UK Festival debut at ‘The Isle Of Wight Festival’ along with Manchester’s Biggest multi-venue indoor Festival ‘Neighbourhood’, as well as touring with The Lathums.

Next up with have Harri Larkin a DIY Alternative band based in Sheffield UK. The collective consists of Cornish singer- Songwriter Harri Tape, drummer Danton Laromani and bassist Oscar South. The band were chosen by John Kennedy (Radio X) as winners of the 2023 Tramlines Apply to play competition, winning slots at multiple major UK festivals including a headline slot on Tramlines BBC introducing curated “Library stage”. Although loosely labeled ‘Alternative’ Harri Larkin blends elements of Funk, Indie, Jazz, Pop & Punk combining huge grooves and catchy choruses.

The full day of music will also feature Chris Taverner, The Cornelius Crane and Daniel Darley plus more TBA
