The Doll’s House Art Gallery is a 1:12 scale silk museum and art gallery, usually situated at 130 Park Lane, Macclesfield, but for a one-off special event will be in the town centre over Barnaby weekend! This is its first time moving from Park Lane, and it will move back there at the end of the festival where it can be visited until July.
Visitable during centre opening hours, 17th & 18th June – Opposite Greggs.
The Doll’s House Art Gallery runs art exhibitions by solo artists and groups, and moved to Macclesfield in April 2022. “The Silk Garret Micro Museum” was added to the top floor at that time thanks to a micro grant from Macc Town Council.
An exhibition of art on the theme ‘In a New Light’, which is Barnaby Festival’s theme for 2023. Artworks are in a range of mediums and were submitted via an open call by Macclesfield residents and those with a connection to the town. All Macc/connected creatives are welcome to submit original miniature art, deadline – received by June 10th.
