The incredible @cakesthatmelmakes has turned this grey day in lockdown into a colourful day of cakey joy. Not only has she baked an amazing cake as part of @monocledeli 6th birthday celebrations but she's only gone & delivered it to the amazing workers at Macclesfield Hospital who are getting us through this crisis. Thank you so much Mel & thank you to all those lovely #NHS people

Dear Friends

We wanted to update you about Barnaby Festival 2020 in light of the latest advice from the government and NHS about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

We must ensure that the health and safety of our audiences, volunteers, artists, partners and staff is the number one priority.

The team at Barnaby is looking at alternative ways we can deliver our festival, in response to the developing situation. We will be in touch with all our funders, partners, stakeholders, artists and communities to ensure that they are kept informed about our plans going forward.

As we are living in unprecedented times, this may take a little while, but please be assured that we will be in touch with you.

Whatever happens, we are committed to supporting our community and creative partners and finding ways to deliver high quality arts and culture, enriching the lives of our audiences and supporting our town.

We will update you with more information soon and thank you for your support.

Keep safe.
Keep supporting each other & our local businesses & organisations & especially our key workers in ways that are safe & comforting.

Hope we can all come out to play again soon.

Calling all young people in #Macclesfield who want to get creative this half term!

Sign up by 1pm today to take part in our free creative workshop @mccann_manchester this Wednesday - 19th Feb - between 10am-4pm.
Free transport available from central Macclesfield.

We'll be exploring how we can create arts festival events that increase well-being and are enjoyable for all - we can't wait to hear your ideas!
